Diwali Gift Ideas 2026: Handmade Terracotta Gifts That Actually Get Used
Diwali falls on Sunday, 8 November 2026. If you’re tired of giving dry-fruit boxes that get passed on, give something made by hand from the same clay as the diyas you’ll light that night.
Everything below is shaped, fired and hand-painted in our Delhi studio. Because each piece is painted by hand, no two are exactly alike.
Need it by a particular date? WhatsApp us with your delivery PIN code before you order, and we’ll confirm whether it can reach you before Diwali.
Prices were checked on 6 October 2026. Confirm the current price, colour and delivery charge at checkout.
For the puja corner and Diwali night
Owl Tealight Candle Holder: ₹1,200
The owl is Lakshmi’s vahana, which makes this the most fitting piece on this list for Diwali night. It comes in three hand-painted colourways.
Elephant Tealight Candle Holder: ₹1,200
A hand-painted elephant with decorative cut-outs, about 8 × 4.5 × 5 inches. With a tealight inside, the cut-outs throw patterned light across the table.
More designs, including cow, dog, reindeer and pumpkin: all tealight holders. Check the product page for the candle size before you buy.
For the friend who just moved house
Round Shape Planter: from ₹650
A hand-painted round planter in two sizes, made for succulents, money plants and small indoor plants. Add a money plant before you hand it over and you have a complete housewarming gift.
Sleeping Elephant Planter: ₹600
An elephant in a resting pose, with the planting space built into its body. Good for a small succulent, cactus or air plant.
Glass Shape Planter: from ₹450
A tall, tapered planter for a desk or windowsill, in two sizes.
Check the product page for drainage before planting directly into a decorative planter.

Gifting tips
- Pair it: a planter with a plant, a coaster set with a tea or coffee pack, a tealight holder with a box of tealights.
- Tell them how to look after it: include a note or a link to our terracotta care guide. Terracotta lasts for years with a little care.
- Warn them about the unboxing video: terracotta is fragile. We pack every order carefully, but a damage claim needs a video that starts before the parcel is opened, sent to us within 24 hours of delivery. If the gift goes straight to the recipient, tell them. Read the damage policy.
FAQ
Will it arrive before Diwali?
Delivery time depends on the PIN code. If you need it by a particular date, WhatsApp us with the PIN code before ordering and we’ll confirm.
Is every piece exactly like the photo?
Close, but not identical. Each piece is shaped and painted by hand, so small variations in colour and pattern are part of what you’re buying.
Do you do bulk or personalised gifts?
Yes. See Corporate Gifting for how quotes work. Personalisation options depend on the product and quantity.
